We regret to inform our loyal Android users that our previous app was removed from the Google Play Store over a policy issue concerning the use of USAF rank insignias in our app icon. It was deemed to be in violation of Google's Impersonation Policy. We have always operated in good faith. We believed USAF rank insignia were entirely in the public domain. In fact, our chief competitor released an app using USAF rank insignia in its icon only days after our app was removed. Nevertheless, we would have gladly changed our app icon if given the opportunity.
Google required us to publish a new app—which must be purchased separately—and we must respect their decision. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our promise to provide free, continuous updates has been honored for over a decade, and we remain committed to supporting Airmen.
